Golden Union Foundation and Tsyrkunivska Community Signed a Memorandum

Tsyrkunivska Community Restoration

This partnership is about trust, shared values, and joining forces to restore one of the most affected communities in the Kharkiv region.

On December 12, 2024, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Tsyrkuny Village Territorial Community and the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation "Golden Union".

The Tsyrkuny community is one of those that suffered the most destruction in the Kharkiv region. The village of Tsyrkuny, located 3 kilometers from Kharkiv, was occupied from the first days of the full-scale invasion and liberated on May 7, 2022. During the occupation and subsequent shelling, about 80% of the community's housing stock was destroyed.

The community includes 9 settlements: Tsyrkuny, Ruski Tyshky, Cherkarski Tyshky, Petrivka, Ukrainske, Butenkove, Mykhailivka, Oleksandrivka, and Cherniaky. Currently, the community's population is about 2,365 people who are gradually returning to their homes.
